三向側(cè)面泵浦固體激光器中熱透鏡的研究*

OPDRV\ 摘要:本文理論分析側(cè)面泵浦固體激光器熱透鏡效應(yīng),詳細(xì)討論介質(zhì)中泵浦光分布和溫度梯度分布,提供了熱透鏡的數(shù)值解法。實(shí)驗(yàn)研究三向側(cè)面泵浦固體激光器的熱透鏡,所測實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果與數(shù)值計(jì)算結(jié)果相吻合。該數(shù)值方法為DPL的諧振腔設(shè)計(jì)提供有效途徑。

Y IVN;:B. Abstract: In this paper a theoretical analysis of thermal lensing in side-pumped solid-state laser is made and the distributions of pumping source and temperature gradient are discussed. A numerical solution of thermal lensing is given. Thermal lensing is measured in experiment, which is consistent with the results from the numerical solution. It is a practical way to design the DPL cavity with the numerical solution.

UujKgL4 激光二極管泵浦固體激光器由于其高效,穩(wěn)定,結(jié)構(gòu)緊湊等特點(diǎn),獲得廣泛應(yīng)用。隨著泵浦功率的增加,激光晶體的熱效應(yīng)對DPL性能的影響逐漸表現(xiàn)出來,特別在大功率的情況下,熱效應(yīng)嚴(yán)重地影響著DPL激光輸出特性。消除或利用熱效應(yīng),研究熱透鏡已成為國內(nèi)外研究DPL的一個(gè)熱點(diǎn)[1-5]。
